Our accountant has been fired as there was some monkey business with the books. 會(huì)計(jì)師對(duì)賬單做了手腳，已經(jīng)遭到解雇。
Are you still fiddling about with those old tools? Stop the monkey business and get some new ones. 還在擺弄這些舊工具嗎？別浪費(fèi)時(shí)間了，換套新的吧。
2. Rat race 2.激烈的競(jìng)爭(zhēng)

3. Cat burglar 3.飛賊

5. Cash cow 5.搖錢(qián)樹(shù)
a dependable source of income; a product or service that makes money 可靠的收入來(lái)源；賺錢(qián)的產(chǎn)品或服務(wù)
Our company’s cash cow is the sales department, which makes enough income to finance the developers. 銷(xiāo)售部是我們公司的搖錢(qián)樹(shù)，向開(kāi)發(fā)部提供了大量資助。
The publisher saw the new bestseller as a cash cow. 出版商把最新的暢銷(xiāo)作品視為搖錢(qián)樹(shù)。
6. Eager beaver 6.干事賣(mài)力的人
an enthusiastic hard worker; someone very excited to start a task 做事勤奮的人；做事賣(mài)力的人
The new secretary is an eager beaver. Although she comes to work at seven every day, she’s the last to leave in the evening. 新來(lái)的秘書(shū)做事勤奮。雖然每天七點(diǎn)就來(lái)上班，但總是最晚下班的人。
Don’t be an eager beaver; we have plenty of time to do this job. 別那么賣(mài)命，我們有的是時(shí)間。
7. Road hog 7.魯莽的駕駛員
a inconsiderate driver, someone who drives carelessly and selfishly 不顧他人安危的司機(jī)，開(kāi)車(chē)馬虎，十分自私

Don’t be surprised that he doesn’t want to take over father’s business, he’s always been the black sheep of the family. 他本來(lái)就不打算繼承父業(yè)，別驚訝，他一直是家里的敗家子 。
They called me the black sheep as I didn’t want to go to the pub and play billiards with them. 就因?yàn)槲也幌肴ゾ瓢筛麄兇蚺_(tái)球，他們就說(shuō)我不合群。
